so I’m assuming he liked where he was thinking of going in 2019 rather than 2020. We have a wide open spot for him. What’s the skuttlebug? We got a realistic chance or just thrown in by the kid? [Reply]

Appears to be between KU and Memphis. Bill has been investing a lot of time and energy into this one, so it would seem there’s a solid chance. I’ll believe it when I see it though. They’ve struck out on every big name since the FBI stuff came out. [Reply]

Step 1: Have recruit get bitcoin account.
Step 2: Have alum form anonymous bitcoin account not linked to said alum send $150,000 worth of bitcoin to recruit.

Negative recruiting's a bitch.
Kansas gets a commitment from #44 - #75 recruit Tristan Eraruna for 2019-2020 (depending on what recruiting service you look at). 6'10'' SF from the Netherlands. Guy probably won't do much next year - but he has potential off the charts and is getting lots better since transferring into the USA from Europe for his Jr and Sr years.
the 18 class was a top five class, hardly anyone has left it, be tough to follow that up with another top 5 but if things go as planned we will be a top 15 this year. I dont understand why everyone has been so afraid and scared about recruiting [Reply]

I don't give a shit about the rankings after we see them on the court for a year. That class was crap. Grimes was supposed to be this killer scorer on the court.
Its no different from the NFL. You picked Grimes. Highly rated on the draft boards. But, its your job to look beyond ratings on boards. Guarantee you their were red flags with him that some saw in his play, his mental outlook etc.
Self is still one of the top 3 coaches on anyones list. He still has missed on many recruits lately. Too many to be just luck and finicky teenagers. He needs to figure out how their values on recruits for too many lately are so far off from production. [Reply]

Last years class was great. You are going to get two years out of Dotson who is going to be a beast this year. You found a diamond in the rough in Agbaji who looks like he should have been a Top 40 player and then you have McCormack who has potential off the charts [Reply]
