Al Bundy 08:21 PM 04-13-2018

We'll see if the Warriors recover from the end of the season stretch of stinkers.

If they are healthy I disagree.

JR was easily the biggest idiot. LeBron and lue definitely deserve blame there too. A group failure on that disastrous five seconds.

You say this with absolute certainty about a team with the best coach in the league that was one game away from the Finals without their two best players?

If that’s the case, nobody outside of GS is a title contender.

This is a thought I had as well, but it’s tough to put it on him.

he made kind of a half ass attempt. Made me think he wasn't sure he had one.

The only difference is that they have to beat the team they're facing four times out of seven instead of just once, making the likelihood even more remote.

Hell, even if Cleveland won last night it would be, at best, a repeat of the 2015 Finals, where they lost in six. Short of someone lobbing a 'nade in the Golden State locker room, they aren't a true title contender either.
I think a healthy Boston team... with Kyrie and Hayward would be a threat against any non-Golden State team from the West in a hypothetical NBA Finals match-up (including against Houston, even with a healthy Chris Paul).

Also I think Boston with their youth is built to capitalize on Golden State's inevitable decline during the next 2-3 years as Golden State's big 4 players all will be in their 30's and the franchise will also be faced with the biggest luxury tax in NBA history to keep their roster intact.

Kyrie would have definitely helped the celts score but they were so good and cohesive defensively, I don’t know that he’d have really been that much better.

They’ll be a force in a year or two but as long as golden state has what it has, no one is beating them.

Unless lebron goes to Houston

I know, so what does it matter whether Kyrie is in Boston or Cleveland this year?

I’d argue the talent/youth and Stevens gave Kyrie a better shot to win another ring long term.

Did you see Rozier in game 7? They win that game at home with Kyrie.

Kyrie with LeBron right now is the best shot at beating the Warriors. I don’t think the Celtics could hang with the Warriors if they were playing 100% healthy.

Warriors just have too many dominant players.
