Pete Crow-Armstrong is the best HS position player. He’s a very Royals-y player... super athletic, projects to stick in CF. LH hitter w/ tons of upside.
I expect Emerson Hancock to go 1-1. He’s the best college pitching prospect, IMO, since Strasburg. His teammate Cole Wilcox is also an elite college arm.
I’d like to see them nab Torkelson, personally. His power would be a nice add to the current crop.
Hancock sounds fantastic but it looks like the Orioles have #1 wrapped up. Torkelson sounds like our best bet. [Reply]

PLAY GOOD BASEBALL. and football.
Agreed completely.
Re: Perez....our team ERA over the years is significant rly lower when he plays than when he’s out. Pitchers always compliment him for his blocking of bad pitches, esp Greg Holland and his forkballs. He makes it impossible to run on him so pitchers don’t have to worry about the runners. He makes crazy plays in the field too which saves runs.
Penalizing him retroactively is therefore absurd. [Reply]
If you can't hit in this league, you sure as hell better be able to bunt a runner over when you are at the bottom of the lineup. I've seen Billy Hamilton fail to do that several times in the past week or so.
Send his worthless ass packing along with Peralta. [Reply]
The Nats are seeking a controllable reliever at the Deadline. Among the relievers they’ve checked in on: Tigers’ RHP Shane Greene, Giants’ RHP Sam Dyson and Royals’ LHP Jake Diekman: https://t.co/6clldG0YuG
