All this talk about series, how network TV Sucks, and how hard it is to find quality shows, and some excellent shows that fly under the radar, I need a comprehensive review of all the series I need to see.
For good entertainment, I would be willing to buy DVD sets. But I've recently picked up HBOGO by kiping it from my parents, and recently got Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Here is a listing of shows that I currently own or have seen all the episodes of. If it isn't on the list, just assume I haven't seen it.

I work a fuckton, so it is hard for me catch a series while it is on to get it on the DVR, but I recognize the entertainment value and am willing to go after the Must See shows. Accordingly, I'm not necessarily looking for anything that is still running. I'm up for watching stuff that has run its course.
So what say you, Planet? Which shows should I see?

No kidding, I vision commenter looking something like this. :-)
I know it’s old but I see Netflix recently added Black Sails. I watched it years ago when it came out but have since forgotten most of it. It is a good show though so I’m happy to be rewatching it. [Reply]

I’m a fan. I’ve watched it though probably 5 or 6 times. It used to be whenever stars would have something worth watching I’d throw it on while I had it.
It’s not flawless but there are some goddamned compelling moments in there.
Thing that gets me is Michael Bay is an EP on it and there isn’t a ton of transformers over the top shit in there.
I saw a trailer for Poker Face on Peacock and thought hey, that looks like it might be good.
Just watched the first episode and it was really good. I hope the rest of the series continues to be this good. [Reply]

It's a unique show. Gets a little bit repetitive but I definitely enjoyed it. Some episodes better than others but the premise is fun and writing is good. [Reply]

I've been watching mostly as a concession for all the NBA playoffs my wife is sitting through and its not bad. Its time pieced perfectly with wardrobe and set. Like really well done
Some of the sayings are too modern for that time but its definitely not the worst thing I've watched in the name of happy life [Reply]

Half way through season 2 due to your recommendation, thanks. This series is for you if you like
Spoiler!
fightin'and ****ing, Oh and there is so much that is not correct for the early 1700s, like the discussion of condoms which were not invented for more than 100 years later. The vocabulary and slang are very much 21st century.

I have to admit, Black Sails is one of the few series that gets better as the seasons progress. Well into season 3 and it is very entertaining. [Reply]

Glad you like it! One of my favorite aspects is that lots of things happen and situations change, but it always makes sense in the context of the show and characters. I can’t think of anything so far (almost done with season 3) where I thought to myself something like “well that was too convenient or made no sense and took me out of it.” [Reply]

Coming back to this because I watched the 3rd (I think it was 3rd?) episode the other day and man, they just couldn't stay away from their...uhhhh...I want to call it woke but I'm not sure that's the correct description. Basically, you could very much tell the writers politics/cultural leanings with the way they presented their idea of lower class or country folks.
I am so tired of this kind of nonsense. I was ready to just stop watching right there. That kind of thing just turns me off. I may give it another go at some point but, if they start that crap again, I'm done. [Reply]

Yeah, totally agree. I finished the series and now it's sad that is over. [Reply]
