#Chiefs CB Steven Nelson (92.7 PFF Overall Grade) was
@PFF
's top-graded player last night. He was targeted six times and only allowed two receptions for 33 yards.
Over the past six games, Nelson has only allowed 264 yards while being targeted 42 times.
He’s having a pretty good season, and at least half of CP thinks he sucks. It’s a shame. [Reply]

Our pass rush isnt as good as you would think. We've probably played against more pass plays than any other team in the league. Need to focus on sacks per pass play rather than sheer volume. Same goes with the yards our DBs let up. Alot of that is scheme & part of being ahead in almost every game forcing the other teams to throw. Its one of the reasons we are dead last in first downs given up (the rate) [Reply]

Yea that's true but this team has a horrible secondary, no one could look at these names and think it would be good, 2 of the 4 starters are guys no one wanted during or after preseason.
Veach really knocking out of the park on those evaluations. [Reply]

And they've all out performed Marcus "im just here to try to get int numbers" Peters. Scandrick was as good of a scrap heap acquisition as Ive seen. Imagine playing Phil Gaines instead? Holy shit I just threw up. [Reply]
It's beyond talent, our secondary often doesn't even seem to know what to do. They couldn't complete a 'pass off' in coverage in the redzone. Our fundamentals our secondary are poor, especially in the secondary. If our guys just couldn't run fast enough or jump high enough it would be one thing but our guys don't even try to play fundamentally sound.
Some times Ron Parker doesn't try at all. Dude just stood there watching other guys tackle etc all game long. It appeared to me like if Parker thought he might get hit he would just sort of backoff. I wouldn't be suprised if Parker retired at the end of this year and just wanted to make sure he stayed healthy.
We are fighting for homefield advantage in the playoffs. We have an outside chance of winning a super bowl. These things should have players kicking it into high gear and going above and beyond the call of duty. Instead, we have guys coasting with a championship on the line. I mean what the hell does that say about the entire organization?
Why would players that don't give a shit still on the team at this point?
All the penalties, a significant percentage of these penalties occur because players don't give a shit. They just say 'fuck it' and push the guy in the back on a kickoff return. Andy Reid doesn't seem concern with penalties. He often doesn't even watch the game when the offense isn't on the field. He has commited too much of his workload to our offense.

Rambling, sorry.
Chiefs have 3 slot corners that’s the problem. None of them can play outside [Reply]

Then why can't they play the slot worth a damn either?
Fuller was considered the best slot cornerback in the entire NFL while he was in Washington. That's why we traded a starting QB for him. Now he stumbling around like an idiot who just drank a fifth of Jack.
How can a player forgot how to play? Fuller suddenly lost his talent? [Reply]
