Problem is, IIRC, Goff's contract is so inflated that they cant even cut him. Not sure how they could afford his dead cap hit + Stafford
Because they have no draft capital and Goff’s contract is a mess. [Reply]

They make more sense IMO.
They do actually since Jimmy G can be cut and they would only owe him $4.2 million of dead money the next 2 years while gaining $23.6 million to give to Stafford.
Either way that’s a big win for him. McVay and Rat Jr come from the same elder Rat tree but they’re both top 10 offensive coaches in the league.

What I was told days ago by a trusted NFL source was Watson had zero interest in Denver and Stafford wanted warm weather. Someone should tell him Denver has 300 days of sunshine. Don’t mention the other 65.
I said it in another thread - I really don't want Stafford in Denver. Jeudy, Patrick and Fant would suddenly realize their potential with Stafford hucking the ball to them. [Reply]
If Gettleman wasn't a total idiot, the Giants should be allover this. Flip them Danny Dimes and a couple of Day 2 picks. Grab a WR in FA and be a playoff team again. [Reply]

The 49ers and Rams have great rosters, but that division is fucking brutal.
The NFCE could be Stafford’s for the next few years in Washington.
Yep, the only reason he shouldn't be all over that is because he is said to prefer a warm weather destination... but if he actually wants win, WFT is a no brainer [Reply]
