Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

This X 1000. Pretty sure we will lose any game we play without Mahomes but he needs to get healthy before he ends up with a serious injury. He's more important to our future than a couple of games. [Reply]
Earlier in the season he seemed to be getting more and more upset at offensive gaffes. It was a stark contrast to last season in which his on-the-field body language seemed a bit more positive.
The last two weeks he's had another demeanor change. He seems dejected. [Reply]

He is walking around with a noticeable limp between plays. And he was plenty animated barking at the officials. It has nothing to do with demeanor. He is playing hurt. [Reply]
the drama is building...but we know where it ends up
Andrew Luck and Phillip Rivers are phenomenal examples as to why we can't count on this. He's injured and not himself right now, and Andy's dumbass playcalling is only making things worse.
At some point, our free agents and draft picks are going to have to start coming through or we're shaping up to be in trouble.
Aaron Rodgers is a great example as to how generational QB play doesn't guarantee a dynasty, and the thing of it is, in Aaron's Super Bowl win, his defense was asked to get a 4th quarter stop to seal it. [Reply]

That's much is obvious.
Maybe the injury is affecting his demeanor. [Reply]

This. He's frustrated probably at himself...but he's a competitor and won't give up. It's commendable, but cooler heads should tell him it may be time to take a short break and get healthy. Oh...and fix the fucking defense. [Reply]
