Usually Alex throwing 40 times was a recipe for disaster.

Frankly, I'm encouraged by this performance. Given Pat's gunslinger mentality, this is the kind of game where he might press to much and throw a couple INTs, or worse. Instead, he kept calm and delivered a perfect game-winning drive. Almost positive that Alex wouldn't have been able to do the same most of the time.

ESPN graded Mahomes higher than Stafford. 77 QBR for Mahomes and 73 for Stafford. Pat got a lot of credit for the clutch 2 minute drive, plus his ability to run the ball. No sacks on Mahomes, whereas Stafford took 4 sacks for 30 yards.

Get used to it. He views Mahomes as a threat to Brady and Mayfield. Gonna be the same BS for the rest of Mahomes' career. I'd say the best approach is simply ignore it.
