And Imo's isn't nearly as horrid as decried. It's decent, particularly fresh out the oven, but not 'outstanding.'

Outstanding in St.L. is Racanelli's, Blackthorne, and PI, in that order.

15 bean soup with country ham.

I also made a recipe I found on a box of stuffing. Classy shit. Anyway, it was a box of stuffing, 1 and 1/4 cup of blue cheese, 1 and 1/2 pounds of diced chicken, a can of petite diced tomatoes, some garlic and some basil. Not bad at all.

Oh I had cornbread. It was left over from last night. I had planned to make chicken and dressing out of it but I got lazy and went with the store bought stuffing.

My cornbread recipe if anyone is interested:

Cornbread

1 Cup of yellow Cornmeal
1 tablespoon Allpurpose Flour
1 and 1/2 Teaspoons of Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
1 Cup of Buttermilk
1 Large Egg

Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Grease 8'' skillet with lard or bacon grease and heat for 5 minutes
Combine Dry Ingredients
Mix Buttermilk and Egg. Add to dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
Pour into hot skillet.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Try it with sour cream instead of buttermilk once.

I hate canned peas.

Feeding your kids canned veggies is child abuse!

The hardest thing about eating vegetables?

Putting them back in their wheel chairs.

Provel is Ferguson poverty cheese. St. Louis types deserve that gross shit.

I had cornbread once at a Southwestern style restaurant that had some jalepeno and corn in it and it was by far the best cornbread I ever had.

I'm not a fan of plain cornbread. Had it many times including many BBQ places and it's always dry, bland and lacking something.
