Nzoner's Game Room>****2018-2019 Official NBA Regular season thread****
dirk digler 05:23 PM 10-16-2018
Didn't see anybody starting this thread so I guess I will.

Anti climatic season starts tonight and my prediction is GS vs Boston in the NBA Finals.

First 2 Games tonight on TNT with Philly vs Boston and OKC vs GS. Westbrook is out tonight so that game will be a blowout most likely.

No KD sign and trade.

It sounds unlikely though.

I think it was Woj reporting earlier this evening they are working to extend Simmons and I am wondering why. Just not a Ben Simmons fan and not a fan of players in this era not being able to shoot.

I still can't get over how OKC fucked that dynasty trio up.
They have a two year window. Had to do it. Giannis probably leaves there.

Well the 76ers just resigned Tobia Harris for a $180 million. JFC this money

76ers resigning Tobias Harris for 5 years/$180 million, damn.

KD's max would still require something coming back to the Warriors to get the salaries to match up. Don't know why the Nets would do that unless Durant demands it, but he's cutting his own team down by asking for it.

Has anyone ever spent more draft and financial capital on a fourth option that was an abomination in the playoffs?

Suddenly I don't feel as bad about the Andrew Wiggins contract a couple of years ago.

$180 million for a guy who is on his 5th team in a 8 year career... isn’t that the definition of a journeyman player?

Dolan wasn’t prepared to offer KD a max deal.

Re-sign Klay for the max, pick in the top 3 next season and the dynasty will continue in 2020-2021.

The Knicks and owner Jim Dolan were not prepared to offer Kevin Durant a full max contract due to concerns over his recovery from the Achilles injury, league sources tell me and @wojespn. Knicks officials are in Los Angeles tonight, meeting with free agents such as Julius Randle.

Stick to the NCAA, that was actually the Bucks (although Raptors with Gasol were the best team from a rate perspective after that trade).

The Lakers being an AIDS fire doesn't reduce the size of the burning dumpster at MSG.
