If Ward wants an extension early (we have 2 more years of cost controlled rookie wage) then he should look at a deal like Steven Nelson got as the kind of deal KC would probably entertain.
Veach should probably consider that, even though he has 2 more cost controlled years, a 3 year extension for something like 10m per would be smart. Get him locked up through the 2023 season for cheap and put some coin in the kids pocket now with a signing bonus. [Reply]
