Good god man, you are one condescending prick if there ever was one. There is a huge difference between average folk and an NFL player.
He has been groomed his entire life for being an NFL player. He knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is held to a different standard. If he has one incident it is no biggie and things disappear quickly. Whereas if he is an average individual he would be held to a much higher standard. Now that he has continued with behavior that is not acceptable in society and especially in the NFL he will, could be, held to a standard that is higher than the average individual.

Perhaps this is the truth. I do totally get the gist of what you’re saying, though, and that we should probably wait till we hear all the facts before passing judgment.
