It was bothering me even as I typed it. I initially put the apostrophe s on it and that didn't look right, so I went with the standard rule of no s if there's already an s. But I'm not sure that looks right either. Maybe nobody has ever used the possessive form of Arkansas, so it's never been finalized. [Reply]

Sweet mother of Christmas, you ain't just whistling dixie. That place is a fuckng cesspool of batshit, xenophobic lunacy. Two minutes in and I could feel my brain turning into oatmeal. [Reply]

But it also leads to where we see patterns that are not there. Or just correlations and not causations. And being able to "see" these patterns when others can't make us feel important. Like we are special.
It's easier for some to swallow there is a shadow conspiracy that is controlling everything than to admit that life is just chaos.
So in the case of these losers, basically astrology. Speaking of which, I should really check my horoscope so I know what I'm supposed to be doing today. [Reply]

Apparently Arkansas passed a bill declaring it to be Arkansas's

I've driven over that bridge several times over the years when down in that area. You're right it's spectacular and as someone who isn't used to something like that I found it a bit unsettling for some reason. When going up it you literally feel like you're driving up towards the sky. It's a little freaky but very cool. [Reply]

Don't know if it has been brought up yet, but the Key Bridge was the approved crossing for hazardous materials. They aren't allowed to go through the tunnels on 95 or 895. Not sure how often that comes into play. [Reply]
