Don't be a dick.
Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny. I'll also be starting player threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. These separate threads will be made as soon as the news breaks, outside of this thread. I will link the threads below. Pure knee-jerk gold to reference in the future.

You're just being obtuse at this point.
Nobody said they're 100% identical in every measurement, but they are VERY similar.
Also, production and measurables are two totally different things. He's definitely not as productive, and he's not even as good.
But the fact that his measurables are very similar is the difference between him and the guys people want to compare him to. That's what makes him a late 1st early 2nd type of prospect. [Reply]

They're being mentioned because everyone figured his testing wouldn't match his tape cause well he's a white WR...come to find out his testing is really good to go along with his really good game tape. [Reply]

just gonna ignore arm length, hand size? Kind of valuable for a guy who uses his hands to do his job.
The difference in arm length and hands isn't all that significant either. It's not like he can't catch the football. Neither guy is going to win like a big man either.
Again, nobody said they're identical, but they're absolutely very similar from a measurables standpoint. [Reply]

And there are just as many close to mecole's, including production on the field.
He's closer to a 2nd round pick than he is Garrett fucking Wilson my god people [Reply]

Comparing a guy who is a nuanced route runner and possibly the best one in the draft, to Mecole Hardman a guy who 5 years into his NFL career still isn't a good route runner..those 2 players should never be compared, Hardman is an athlete that plays football, McConkey has a much much better understanding of how to play his position.
