It's probably more important that Mecole 'Fred Phelps' Hardman focus on getting up to speed as a punt returner than developing into a downfield receiver in the short run.
No Tyreek obviously sucks ass for the offense given Mahomes' arm, but I think you gotta at least give the guys on the roster a shot at proving if they can provide at least 60% of what Hill had in pass catching ability while Hardman contributes immediately as an impact returner. [Reply]

That is what training camp and preseason is for.
Giving guys spots due to seniority is why we have had shitty players make the club. Hardman comes in as the fastest player on the team, if he gets the timing down with Mahomes - people will quickly forget about that pos Reek. [Reply]
I'm not a huge fan of this pick. I think there were far better options even if they were trying to replace Hill. I think they still need a starter because this kid is going to be very raw. [Reply]

Hill was also raw coming out of college. Was a RB not a WR [Reply]

Good luck finding a day 1 starting WR late in the 2nd! [Reply]

Strongest production comes at the end of the year.
Now this is fair for Hardman, especially the strongest part is towards the end. It's going to take sometime to really get up to speed on Reids complexed offense, learning all of the plays, where to be, where to go, etc.
I would be thrilled with this production.
Robinson has to have the same type of number's to help offset the loss of Hill.
Kelce has to pick up some extra catches and yards this year, [Reply]

Then they are in deep trouble. Quality WR's fell deep in this draft. I just think there were better options than a very raw project when KC has 1 quality WR on the roster going into the draft. (assuming Hill is cut soon) [Reply]
