There's a big learning curve when going from "a big fish in a small pond" to an "average fish in a big pond". He'll either work his ass off the next couple of years and make the show or he won't, just depends on his mental makeup. The tools are there. [Reply]
I really hope it works out for this guy. He seems like a good person. Just started a family, wife and baby etc. I'll admit I was really high on him in the beginning. Still holding out hope. [Reply]
The middle of our Dline has been terrible against the run. Jones and Williams have no gap discipline at all, they just want to rush the passer. I wonder if Williams is trying to do what Jones did last year, abandon the run defense trying to get a big contract by sacking the QB. [Reply]

Jared Allen was a beast from the moment he took the field. They drafted him in part because of his ability to long-snap. He was a starter at DE by the time his first preseason was over. [Reply]

Vermeil said if he knew he'd be that dominant Jared would've beem drafted in the 1st and not the 4th. he originally replaced Vonnie Holliday due to injury. [Reply]

I'm going to stake a claim on bragging up Jared. I don't know when I stated it, but he wasn't with the team very long and I stated that he is a Sack Monster. I was on his bandwagon from the beginning. If someone is into it to find this comment I made back when he was first brought it. Thank you in advance.
Hell, come on, I'm 61 and want something to brag about. LOL [Reply]
