I actually like Johnson but the thing that has always pulled at my leg when it comes to signing him is that he reminds me of Sean Smith. Knowing that, I’d fear that he’s probably got 1-2 really solid years left, at best.
Could be wrong but that’s the vibe I get there. [Reply]

If Star comes in expensive, Poe might very well be Plan B. Star is stout in the run game and I think Veach/Reid we’re sick of seeing the front 7 getting gashed, thus the reported interest in him. But if he commands $7-9 million per, they might look at Poe who should be cheaper and is arguably more versatile. The Chiefs May get a slight discount as reports have stated Poe really wants to be back in KC. Lotulelei is too one dimensional to garner near double digit millions per. Daquon Jones could likely do what Star can for cheaper, though he is not a true NT. [Reply]

Trey Burton will absolutely be overpaid in this market. Way too many teams need a TE and theres not enough of them available.
Youre way off base if you think you can get Burton as a #2. [Reply]

Josh Sitton is getting older, but can still play. Might be a good stop gap for guard. Always good to have a another veteran presence on the offensive line. [Reply]
