Thanks!

It won't. States are going to start easing social distancing very soon.

So if there is never an effective/scalable vaccine created, no mass crowds ever again?

Random people.

What if 20% of those people were going to get a government funded raise during that year? What if 2% of those people don't even have or want jobs? What if 20% are already retired? What if only 10% of them stand to lose their business?

I just want to know if we can all go home if someone dies prior to the vote.

This is just the latest from today....
People dying a couple of weeks earlier in February does not mean that COVID was in the US earlier. The article does not even say that.

A lot more people being infected does not mean it was in the US earlier than previously thought.

However, the mortality rate going down is a good thing.

That's a good question one that I'm not qualified to answer. I will say this, as a last resort, I think with mass testing we'd be able to create some type of guidelines for mass crowds without a vaccine.

However, I'd like to think we'll be able to create an effective vaccine. We'll see.

You could go further even...

How many of the 599 unemployed or their family members would die during that year.

What if all 600 were from the same family.

There has never been an effective/scalable human vaccine created for any type of coronavirus since the coronavirus family was first discovered in humans 60 years ago.

The FDA has never approved a vaccine for coronaviruses.

What do you think the ratio would be if we weren't practicing social distancing? How many people would lose their jobs anyway due to people not going to restaurants, sporting events etc out of fear?

So many variables. With all due respect that ratio is a bit misleading.

Daface is pretty tricky trying to get us to not argue about numbers he gave us different numbers to argue about.

I was implying that 599 people unemployed for a year would effect the normal mortality of them and their families...

They might not be unemployed for a year, and none could die.
