Can't get it up here north of the border but, through a wine distributer I am able to order a case. Would like to hear from someone who knows their stuff and has tried it before I order.
Frys Grocery is doing a bourbon heritage month and sporadically through the month adding different offerings. They had the entire 1792 line today but only the Full Proof was a single barrel pick. Was only $39 so picked one up. Was lucky to find it this morning!
Having an infinity bottle, if you didn’t know the term.
It’s taking an empty bottle or decanter and adding a single pour from good bottles of bourbon/whiskey (my 1792 above qualifies). I prefer to add the pour to my infinity bottle when I crack the bottle but some prefer it to be the last pour. Over time you have a bottle that is blending many various bourbons/whiskeys and can become quite good and different.

I screwed up early on by adding some cheap, crappy rye to it and after that, no matter what I put in it, it still tasted like that cheap rye. Which, coincidentally, was great for cocktails. [Reply]

Great choice! Report back.
Big fan of Elijah Craig. Only problem is laat time I over endulged and had severe anxiety the next day so I've been a little hesitant to get it again. [Reply]

It’s sporadic. They go quick and it’s restocked sporadically. Best best is early morning or finding someone to ask about “special” bottles for bourbon month. Stagg Jr is a part of it as well! [Reply]
