This. Scorch the Earth. It's time. We need a fresh face and a new attitude because all of the talent in the world isn't going to make Bob a better coach and game-day asset.
I want to clean house.
I don't care about Bob in particular. You don't 'scheme' a tackle and I don't think it's a scheme issue. Players make tackles or they don't.
What I see is too many blown assignments, slow development of talent, and and a lack of aggressive pursuit to the ball carrier. Everyone just stops and waits and the first guy ALWAYS seems to miss the tackle.
I don't care about who's to blame. Scorched earth, as you said. There's obvious issues with specific players but at some point they need to be put on notice that this shit can't happen. There's too much talent to play this badly for this long. It's been 3 seasons of this shit. [Reply]

Defense is going to shit the bed in a home playoff game, and people will blame the offense for not scoring 50.
Giving up 24 to a one-dimensional Baltimore team is grounds for termination.
There's little chance Andy's going to replace Sutton with a DC who demands his side of the ledger get its due. Bob's perfect, he just let's Andy fuck the D and sells Bob on Haglund's return saving the world. [Reply]
