Just picked this up to sip on tonight. :-)

I hate iOS. Don't understand why it posts everything sideways

That's what great about bourbon/whiskey. Lots of flavor profiles that appeal to different people.

Use the Russell's for the peaches then. That would be good since it IS a good bourbon.
I was just there last week, but was in the middle of a work day on the way back from Rocky Point. They have a couple of really good Bottle Logics on tap, and their pizza and street tacos are always on point.

Yeah, and I've only been experimenting with bourbon for the past year or so, so I feel like I still have a fairly limited taste for it... I've found a few favorites, but still developing a palette for it overall.

We'll see how it goes, this shit could be dangerous.

Yeah the picture thing is dumb.

Rare breed is a great pour. So much cherry in there and I love it.

You should throw some fruit in that.

Is it the 10 year?

I know some people think its a little hot. I have been on the lookout for Russells 13 yo barrel proof to show up here to give a try.

Phoenix appeared to get some bottles of this but not many. Had to be in the right spot at the right time.

I hear it's good.

Ketel One on ice, with a lemon slice

Its the perfect primer for this 1.25 pound T-bone going on coals later, with a baked tater and salad with garden tomato

All American classic, can't go wrong

I feel the same, which was surprising for only 45%.

But, having been a craft beer drinker for years with the occasional old fashioned, being able to say "only 45%" is quite the progress over the past year. :-)

Really, download tapatalk app if for nothing else than posting pics on here. That's all I use it for and it's super simple.

Oh and I typically have a bottle of Rare Breed on hand. One of my favorites at a decent price point.

Everyone has a different taste for bourbon. I myself get strange looks when I tell them I'd soon have a nice couple of fingers of Rowan's Creek than bourbons three times its price point. That finish is like no other to me it's unique.

Russell's Reserve Rye the green label makes a fine old-fashioned and it is not unreasonably priced. A cheaper option but still quality for old fashions Old Overholt.
