We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

Why do I need those people to tell me about the numbers and trends I can see for myself easily.

Why don’t you go back through March and post up the numbers? I mean there were under 40 deaths a day throughout most of the month. Not sure what those numbers would tell you .

I threw in Monday’s yesterday because I LOOKED at the numbers and realized what was happening. It’s obvious. Well to everyone but you I guess...
I did go back to March. I had this discussion. That's when Hamas started claiming that even though I was right I was wrong because the growth rate was this that or the other thing.

And you have yet to state why Sundays and now Mondays are lower other than "they just are".

Oh I’m sure those Sunday and Mondays that had only 12 deaths are relevant...

The 22 was a sunday and was the first day over 100 the 23 was a Monday and was 140

The 24 was a Tuesday and was over 250.

That was the first week that really matters imo.

And I’ve stated multiple times that is because it’s the weekend and numbers aren’t getting reported correctly on the weekends.

Hell our health department isn’t even open on the weekends

New cases on the other hand went higher and higher on Sunday\Monday until April 5th when they said they had a reporting glitch.

https://www.hopkinsguides.com/hopkin...9__SARS_CoV_2_

Preliminary evidence suggests two strains of SARS-2-CoV circulating: one associated with milder illness (~30%), the other with severe illness (70%). Additional sequencing studies may help define if further mutations may lessen virulence and also help trace spread.

I don't think there has been any one set of numbers thrown out in this thread by anyone that doesn't get or hasn't been debated regardless of what the numbers are for, when they are from or where they are from or some combo thereof.

I thought they said there were 2 strains back in March?

Yes, I mentioned it then, but I hadn't seen it in a medical journal until now. The speculation is that the west coast got hit with the former (from China) and the east coast got the latter from Europe.

Do different strains require different antibodies? How does that work?

If that’s the case let’s inoculate everyone with the mild one

This feels like a giant cluster ****. We're going to "double our testing capacity here in Mizzoura" according to the governer. At which time we're going to see a ton more positive cases, (one would assume).

But hey we're gonna open up on May 4th! Never mind the fact we're probably gonna have to close everything down again because the number of positive cases are going to skyrocket.
