I guess we filled up the old one... http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=280149

Welcome to 2014! Now get your ass in top physical condition!

No one else started it so here it is!

**From the 2013 Thread**

If you want to get back into lifting, or need a new lifting routine, START HERE:

http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wi...inner_Programs

If you have questions about the SS programs, look here:

http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ

Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

http://madcow.hostzi.com/5x5_Program/Linear_5x5.htm

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

No, but that depends on activity level and how quickly you want to cut.

That is about where I was at for my cut cal wise and you are 10lbs heavier. I cut a bit of cals every month and also had 6 weeks of clen use in that 12 weeks.

No offense to Billay but I'll bet you had a lot more lean mass at the same weight when compared to him. No reason he probably shouldn't be around 2k calorie wise.

Sure...but he will lose the weight although our body comp wouldn't be the same if he repeated my process. He would likely be happy none the less Id bet.

I am just saying based on what I would guess to be his lean mass, there's not reason not to just be around 2,000 calories and start cutting some weight if that's his main goal. Once he's lost a decent amount of fat he could actually add some calories back in (100-200) for a small recomp. That's how I'd attack it anyway.

You were doing physique or bodybuilding?

What's the difference? And since I know you train legs, why not just classic bb instead of physique?

Im just not big enough for my height. A lot of guys at lt heavy(198) are 5'5- 5'10. Maybe a tad shorter at 176.

The next step is classic physique which is the tweener of physique and BBIng.

Well I was going to try 2,300 then assuming at some point when I stall go down to 2,000. I don't wanna just go down to 2,000 and then have to cut below 2k didn't think you were supposed to?

2,300 should be good enough if he's in it for the long haul but personally I'd go down to 2,000

I'll try 2,000 but if I don't lose 2 pounds in 2 weeks I'm blocking all of you.

I've discovered yoga. Tired of being so stiff all the time.
