Today at 3:00, Steve will be holding a press conference regarding the criminal investigation involving Tyreek Hill and Crystal Espinal. This will be held in our 4th floor conference room.
If the media is protected, what about the person who gave them the audio? That person had pertinent information about an ongoing case. The media should now have to give up their source. [Reply]
The DA, nor the Chiefs, nor Tyreek knew about the audio's existence. Crystal obviously knew it existed, but had no idea it was in the hands of the media.
They were all made aware of the audio before it aired yesterday, in a controlled and coordinated manner.
The mental gymnastics and amateur legal takes on this board are almost actually unbelievable they're so stupid. To think that the news station doesn't have a team of lawyers that have vetted every applicable statute is asinine. Furthermore, there's been like 5 different people that suggested Crystal is now in legal jeopardy as well. I feel like this place is sometimes the actual Twilight Zone. [Reply]

Nobody is in legal jeopardy including ‘Reek. A tape isn’t conclusive evidence of a crime. They **may** get him on a threat charge vs Crystal, but that’s about it. [Reply]

Schefter said Hills NFL future is in serious jeopardy. Dominique Foxwoeth who was part of the NFLPA says if the NFL tried to ban Hill from the NFL that the NFLPA will fight it and they will win since this is Hills first offense [Reply]
