You guys that snub anything made out of a box but knock a well put together plate are something else... I made steak I didn't get to cook for mothers day with fries and left over corn.
a lot of casseroles and stews and sauces dont look good...but taste amazing...
i mean sometimes just plain rice can be so good, but just looks like...well rice
Wow! I've never seen a single casserole or sauce that didn't also look good. Maybe they didn't do the topping right. That's the key there.
I'd hate to see a casserole like that which you ate. Perhaps when it's scooped out into a mass on a plate it may not look so great—but not bad either.
They are sheer comfort food to me.

It's fun to spend a few dollars on seeds or transplants and see what grows.
FYI if you have a dog, grapes can be toxic to dogs. A friend had a neighbor with grape vines and they almost killed his dog. [Reply]

Did not know that. I will never have a dog though. No animals outside. I personally just like the look of grape vines and this ugly white fence is horrible. If they produce fruit, fine. If not, coverage is ok too.
I am really confused about how to trim grape vines though. Seems a bit confusing. [Reply]

This is destined for my pit this weekend. If you've never been to Memphis and had a BBQ bologna sandwich, you're truly missing out on one of the great regional BBQ dishes.

That's perfect doneness to the cheese and peps. Slightly charred. Awesome.
That's the first time I started the pizza under the broiler. Once I got some char, switched it to convection for the rest of the cook. Will likely do it that way from here on out. [Reply]
