What are you talking about?!? Mahomes is just a pothead. [Reply]
I can't even begin to express how wonderful it is to watch Elfraud run Dungver in to the ground so deep, it will take YEARS for the next GM to bring the corpse back up to sunlight while simultaneously watching Pat Mahomes become the most dangerous, effective, and winning QB in the AFC.
MAHOMES BONUS: Shitty receivers such as "Alligator" Wilson, "Holdin' Out for Hope" Conman, and any of the other two to three completely forgettable receivers on this roster will now have fully exploitable market value.
MAHOMES BONUS: previously uninterested, top-tier FA's will be far more willing to put the Chiefs on their franchise tours during the period of transaction.
Put THAT in your "Smitty" and smoke it... :-) [Reply]
You realize that if John Dorsey turns the Browns around in 1 to 2 years and they go deep in the playoffs that they will accomplished more than your franchise has in the last 48 years. Won't happen but kind of crazy to think about. [Reply]
This would be the time to pile on. Fresh off a 5-11 season, right before Elway uses his $35M in cap space and his 11 (so far) draft picks. Do it while you can, because Denver is about to make a massive jump. [Reply]

There is actually some truth to that...Wilson put up 150 on Denver. He never sniffed that number with Smith...
That should be a tell-tale ...Mahomes finds the open receiver. Rodgers has made a lot of WRs money too...as did Manning. [Reply]

That's an awesome thought, man. Thanks for sharing! [Reply]
Interesting that Schefter didn't mention Denver here:
