How come Curry isn't getting ripped for that shitty performance last night?

He's just a good ol Christian boy who married his high school sweetheart. The poster child for young kids who wanna shoot six feet behind the 3 point line.

I don't think anyone is discounting the Cavs historic night of making 3 pointers. Damn they were in the zone. Best shooting I have ever seen.

They were so focused I really think they would have won without the extra first quarter help by the refs. They came out hitting and never let up. They really had a great game plan on both sides of the ball and the Warriors never adjusted to it.

The bad officiating really tainted what should have been a signature win for the Cavs.

Exactly.. I think the Cavs hot performance caught the officials off guard a bit and once things got out of hand figured they better try to make things a little more even. I imagine it is pretty damn hard to officiate a game to ensure an outcome but yet make it competitive. They sure struggled with it last night.

This. It was his worst performance in the finals. The Cavs doubled him and instead of passing to the wide open guy- he continually tried to dribble through it. Those senseless turnovers were a back breaker. In an interview before the game, Curry talked about how it was a Team sport- but failed to play like that on the court.

If people wonder how the Warriors can go from tying the record for least turnovers in a playoff game to being a turnover machine- it starts with this.

Add to it- his passing the whole game was subpar at best and decided he didn't need to set his feet before shooting the ball- it was a game I am sure he regrets.

I hope they just let them play a clean game next time.

The odds of a team being down 0-3 two years in a row and coming back and winning would be minuscule. I guess we will see how the NBA is going to orchestrate it?

In this series alone, Draymond has received no flagrant fouls despite dragging someone down in midair with his arm and elbowing someone in the head. He also received two technicals in the same game (an automatic ejection) but had it rescinded to one mid-game once the officials became aware of that fact. Zaza, of course, punched someone in the groin and did not receive a foul at all. And then Kevin Durant has also received two more free throws than LeBron James in the series despite driving to the basket considerably less in each of the games.

If the refs are on the Cavs' side, they haven't done a particularly good job of showing it thus far.

I'd say it's because he's regarded as the sidekick now (a position he signed up for last summer), but he was getting passes for games like this the last two Finals.

I hate to be cynical, but I absolutely think someone from the league impressed on the refs how important it was that this series continue. The refs seemed completely shaken and didn't know how the fuck to call the game. They called so many fouls in the first quarter that they were clearly worried about appearing biased in favor of the Cavaliers, which led to the weird Draymond technical incident. The game was officiated so differently from the games in Golden State, it was like watching a different sport.

No he was not getting passes for games like that in past finals. Everyone was calling him out last-yr. Curry gets a ton of criticism and hate. Does he get as much criticism as LeBron would if LeBron put up that kind of finals performance? No but that is because guys like you constantly claim LeBron is the GOAT so LeBron is held to a higher standard.

No one really cares about Currys performance last night because the Warriors were up 3-0. Now they are up 3-1 and everyone still knows they are going to win the series so Curry gets a pass for that performance last night IMO.

That loss last night was not a big deal. It's chess, not checkers. Warriors should win the next one and end the series on Monday.

Don't make that win a bigger deal than it actually is LeBronie.

They have been fine up until game 4. Obviously they had orders to extend the series. Cavs probably would have won anyways though.

Because it was 3-0 and last night's game didn't matter.

LeBron is held to that higher standard because he is regarded as the GOAT (or at least close to it) whether everyone is fully comfortable admitting that to themselves or not.

Warriors in 5 was my prediction before the series and that's exactly what it looks like it is going to be. As a team, they are the greatest ever assembled and certainly much better than the Cavs. And yet LeBron is still positive in the plus/minus when he's actually on the court this series...just an incredible player.

I would put Lebron in my top 10 but GOAT- nope. Best since Kobe retired for sure.
