This is so exasperating. There are ways to manipulate it. You can convert contract money to a bonus, backload them, etc. The money part will work itself out. It ALWAYS does. [Reply]
Allow me to be very, very clear, guys - the Chiefs have had discussions with the Jaguars about Ramsey, and a team does that if there’s legit interest. But like I said yesterday, there are major cap considerations and draft capital to consider. https://t.co/4MtA7UtDRU

That's what I'm saying. Have Jalen Ramsey call Tom Coughlin a cocksucker wigger or whatever, hold Mark Brunell hostage, do whatever he has to do. [Reply]
Here's a theory, Chiefs tell the Jags wait until after Sunday to trade a first round pick and Sammy, we can blow through the Lions and the Colts after that and by then Tyreek will be back.

You heard it here first.
Jesus Christ what an absolutely awful trade for the Chiefs. [Reply]
Now, is there is a point where a trade WOULD make sense for the team to do? Yes. So like everything in the NFL, the situation remains fluid. But it’s unclear if things will progress to that point.
I am asking you guys to understand there is nuance and context to this situation. I have done the best I can to communicate the different factors at work, and where things currently lean.

Sammy becomes expendable if Robinson continues trajectory (and vastly improves his consistency), but you don't dump critical assets, if the goal is to add the last piece to make a huge push. Sammy leaving would be an offseason thing, not now. [Reply]

After Mahomes and Jones are signed, we're not going to have much room to do anything. In case you haven't noticed, we have 1 CB with any sort of potential whatsoever on the books after this year (Ward) and he played like a ****ing piece of shit in one game this year. Structure be damned, he needs to stop overpaying for players to this extent.
Basically Watkins money goes to Jalen Ramsey, the cap space we have now and the increase goes to Mahomes and Jones. You have to do the deals so they're back-loaded, if possible.
There are undoubtedly ways to make it work and you obviously keep the nucleus of Mahomes/Hill/Kelce/Hardman for the next three years on offense. If we want that to be our window you could do back-loaded deals to make that work but then it will be a horror show. [Reply]
