We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.
You also all assume Bell will get the money hes asking for. That's a huge assumption considering A. Pittsburgh didnt pay him and nobody offered them a considerable offer. [Reply]

hahahahahaha...."Berry coming back". Yeah, that's worth two smokes and a hand job down at the west bottoms. And I'm sure our current bag o' dicks depth combined with 4 to 5 rookies is exactly what Spags has in mind for building a defense.

Child, please.
Are you saying Berry retires or released? Either way that would give the Chiefs even more money. Your argument doesnt make sense.
BTW you mentioned the Pats game. The interior was trash and we couldnt run the ball. So uh yeah Bell would help. [Reply]
You don't pay starting QB money to a running back when you have a back who averaged 5.1 YPC already on the roster. When your had the #31 defense that was actually the most pathetic defense in the 100 year history of the NFL, except that somehow the Bengals managed to be worse.
5.1 ypc. So in other words, feed him and you never see third down. I mean, come on. That's Jim Brown shit. WE DON'T NEED A STARTING RB.

Doesn’t matter to me who’s coming off
Rbs just aren’t thay valuable and that money could go elsewhere [Reply]

You just don't. It's ****ing stupid.
Hes not getting QB money that's a horrible argument [Reply]

Retire or release means nothing in this case. You're the one saying that he's "healthy and coming back", which implies that he might do something besides play like shit( when he plays )or sit on the bench day to day.
As to the Pats game, regardless of the coin toss, a defense that was worth more than a sluggish, Haglund gimp and a "please target me(!)"-secondary could have easily put the brakes on a fading Tom Brady and got Mahomes back on the field. Easily. Tom Brady didn't "come back" against KC. His ass was tired, beat, and ripe for the taking. And our shitty, shitty defense couldn't get a stop. Pathetic.
If LDT is back healthy and the Chiefs pick up a new Center or Guard, the interior will be more than enough to run an adequate ground game without paying out another head case who does dumb shit like sitting out for a season. There's no way in fuck Reid wants that bullshit on this team. [Reply]
You all are stuck on Berrys contract he barely played last year I doubt he will be an elite safety again but Berry at 70% is just as good as alot of safeties [Reply]

Hill Watkins Kelce flex Bell out with William's in the back field. How is that stopped?
Not any more so than Williams. YOU NEED TO GET A GRIP.
He's a terrible fit for the blocking scheme. He's a terrible fit as a personality, he puts himself in front of the team. He literally doesn't produce at a level above the guy we already have on any per touch basis.
You had the #31 defense. You spend the money to fucking fix that. You don't need a high priced running back. You don't want this guy in your locker room, he's an asshole.
His style doesn't fit, he's wildly expensive, you have a RB that averaged 5.1 ypc.
and he's not a team player. WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THIS?
You don't, unless you're really, really stupid and have no idea what you're looking at when you watch football. He's a terrible fit for a moving, pulling, cross blocking line.
HE DOES NOT FIT THIS OFFENSE. DOES NOT.
And we can't afford to tie up that kind of money in a guy that would sit behind Damien Williams. Yes, he would. He would absolutely be a back up BECAUSE HE DOES NOT FIT THIS OFFENSE.
His wait, wait, wait sit on the lineman's back pocket and then at the last minute make a cut thing that he does DOES NOT FIT HOW WE RUN THE OFFENSIVE LINE.
This offseason is going to be priceless. Veach is going to piss everybody here off. He's going to make a combination of moves that literally leaves EVERYBODY mad for one reason or another. LOL [Reply]

**** man.
Keep moving those goal posts. It's obvious since Veach took over we are getting younger on defense and we have more than enough picks to address the defense. Besides I thought the defensive issues were Sutton? [Reply]
