So are you, JFC. Do you watch it so you have more things to bitch about on top of having no woman, no job etc? A life is what you need to get, TWD isn't working well for you. [Reply]

The producers of the show intentionally deviate from the comic book to keep readers of the comic guessing. Some examples;
- In the comic Sophia is still alive and Carol is dead
- Abe gets the arrow to the eye, replaced by Denise in the show
- Rick's hand gets cuts off by the Governor, not Merle
So the show uses the comic as a template but they do change things up. [Reply]
I am wondering if it is Abraham. Remember he kinda Bow'ed up and was defiant to Negan and Negan noticed it. Everyone else was looking down or being emotional. Plus I think 1 good crack on Glenn would send him down for the count. It took a couple of hits from Lucille to make the lights go out on the "POV". After the first hit the POV came back up in that defiant manner and that is when Negan said that he took it like a champ.
It seems likely since Abraham has been going off the deep end with swapping the women and then wanting to settle down like Glenn and Maggie did and have a kid. [Reply]
There was no excuse for that ending...none. Especially after all the hype they gave it. It's too late now the moment is ruined. Anyone who they kill loses it's luster. [Reply]
I think they made a mistake by not showing who got Lucille. They had the opportunity for their Red Wedding moment, and instead we now have 6 months before we find out. I think by that point, a lot of people simply won't care anymore.
Bad TV.
I enjoyed the episode, and I'm all in on JDM as Negan, but that kind of cliffhanger sucked. [Reply]

The real cliffhanger would have been the group not knowing WTF they can/are going to do about Negan.
Negan won't take out a prime contributor to his cause, he will take out the person who is the weakest.........and we all know who that is.
I can see this point. It would also allow the fan base to start hating Negan more and more before season 7 starts. But TWD doing cliffhangers is not without precedence;
- Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger; the CDC doctor whispering into Rick's ear, we didn't get to know what he said until the end of season 2
- Season 3 ended on a cliffhanger; what happened to Judith??
- Season 4 (I think it was season 4) ended on a cliffhanger; how would Rick et.al. escape from Terminus??
- Glenn's fate?!?!?! I think this was a big driver in how this season ended. Think about the fan's reaction to not knowing if Glenn was dead or alive. Debates raged across the interwebs, there was a bumper crop of dumpster memes, and Twitter almost broke down.
Now the producers have given the fan base something to debate for the next 6 - 7 months; who is dead and how does it effect the group?? They tosses us a fish and we are clapping like seals. :-) [Reply]
