Lol, right on time Florida man shows up.

It's like "Ignorance Before All Else" should be the state motto.

Also it is funny to look back at the dire predictions from a few weeks ago when everyone was claiming that Florida was going to experience a surge in cases because they weren't rushing to close the beaches and issue a state-wide shelter in place order.

That didn't happen.
THe is a mega thread in the lounge that explains his reasoning.

I'm not sure what dire predictions you're referring to, but Florida has absolutely seen significant case growth.

But the states with good numbers should be able to open as they see fit by May 1st if they choose.

I’m fine with some states being the guinea pigs for the rest of us. Has to happen sometime.

The shitty thing is while some states open some citys and countys are remaining closed. Much like this thread it's turned into a political pissing match. It's a huge cluster fuck.
The golf course 1 mile from me is open because it's outside city limits while the few inside the city are closed.

Sounds like you’re jealous that people are enjoying the beaches and open spaces.

I'm speaking as someone who works in healthcare and thinks it's retarded that high population areas are already opening. Some people are putting their lives on the line to care for someone who thinks they need to socialize or go to the beach. This is hardly controlled right now. Rural areas are a different story and could likely open up soon and continue to track data for the rest of us.

Social distancing has in fact worked and we cannot stayed closed forever. Easing restrictions in low population areas first with an actual plan would be a good start. Too bad no one has produced a well thought-out plan....

If you are concerned about hospital capacity then focus your disgust on the people who are putting the biggest strain on the health care system during the pandemic... people with diabetes, obesity and hypertension.

All of those conditions are primarily lifestyle-driven... people making bad lifestyle decisions.

You may be the dumbest motherfucker in this thread, which is really quite a feat.

Kudos.
