Come on guys. Are we really going to argue that the GM that let Harden and Durant get away. Is all knowing and a player is good because he gave them a big contract. Even though it hasn't shown up on the court. :-)

And its not like Harden is the best player on the best team. His team is the 3 seed. Its not like we are talking about a 70 win, 1 seed here.
Don't they count stats for rebounds in triple doubles different now than they did when Oscar Robinson played?

That "terrible" OKC roster wasn't considered all that terrible before the season. Almost every one of the moves were justified as being good. As for the moves Moray made - not so much. Westbrook is exactly why OKC won't win the series. He is all about HIMSELF. He threw up 23 or so BRICKS in the 4th last game which served to overshadow his 51. That's a pretty good reason why they lost. MVP? More like MVME. Give me Harden over Westbrook any day, and watch the players around him play better...

Absolutely not. In fact, I've argued just the opposite. Presti killed the Thunder. The day he made the Harden trade was the beginning of the end.

Pro Westbrook fans might be worse than Pro Alex Smith fans
TF are you talking about? Every stat l have posted you discredit in favor of a narrative. You arent posting stats at all!!

Its funny you bring up Alex because your argument is closer to the pro Alex side than ours. Ignoring stats in favor or team success and narratives.

Come on. He was gassed. He didn't even take bad shots. He just didn't have the legs anymore. They couldn't even sit Westbrook because his team gave up what a 9-0 run in a minute that he was out. To a Rockets team that didn't have Harden on the floor at the time. Please tell me who he should of passed to instead of shooting the ball.

People act like the guy who averaged over 10 assists a game never passes. He had 13 assist that game where he basically had to set his teammate up for a dunk. When Westbrook has had talent around him he has played well. Been to the NBA finals and took an historic Warriors team to 7 games. He just wants to win and knows that he is their best option right now.

Westbrook plays like he's in career mode for 2K. He uses a bunching strategy. He'll bunch his shots together to get points for 5 minutes without passing, then he'll bunch his assists together for 5 minutes without shooting. Rinse, repeat, and just horrible rhythm all the way around. And then he camps in the lane on defense for rebounds. Hardly ever contests a shot. He is a video game player. He's no better this year than any other.

Btw, Harden is guilty of this to a lesser extent. He almost always tries to get 5-7 assists in the 1st quarter.

Rondo out with with a broken hand. What shitty luck for the bulls. He was really looking like his old playoff self.

Yeah, professional sports team have never built big leads before and then started playing casually without any sense of urgency. Never happens.

It's gonna be GS SA in the west. I don't see the Rockets being able to beat either of them

SA isn't that great, but yeah, neither are the Rockets. GS will sleepwalk through it
