You guys can have Odom if you want, all you gotta do is ask nice. I mean, he's no peach but he's better than anyone you'll be able to land. Think of it as a gesture of goodwill between our peoples. [Reply]
It wouldnt be a sexy hire but Dave Doren would be a great get. He has Kansas roots, was great at Northern Illinois, and has had 1 losing year at NC State which was his first. He knows how to develope talent (Bradley Chubb anyone?)
I get the appeal of Miles but it's so much easier recruiting at an SEC school. His offenses the last few years at LSU were really really bad. [Reply]

Then why did he get fired? I mean it's one thing when you put 60 on The Citadel but look at those losing streaks. The offense was total shit and that guy had NFL talent. [Reply]

because LSU thinks they're some kind of all time great football program [Reply]
The KU charter plane just took off from Lawrence Municipal airport, with occupants entering via a side road not accessible to the public. We did not see who was on flight. Flight Tracker info has that plane destined for Baton Rouge, La., tonight.

I would love to get Doren, but his buyout may be way too high. [Reply]

That's before mentioning that he already has a championship and is old. How much is he really going to care if KU isn't turned around on his watch? [Reply]

This says to me that the guy is ready to get back into coaching. I think he will be coaching next year, whether that be at KU or somewhere else. [Reply]
