Why would Larsson (Danson) would get knocked out on the porch, in the middle of the Blumquist house seige, then apparently wake up and take off to meet up with the SIL officer who is escorting Ed away from the jail? Only to return to the Blumquist house to see the carnage that occurred. Is that an obvious theme of this show that I'm missing? Incompetent LEOs?
Or is my timeline being thrown off by the week break between incidents. Now that I think of it, the last 2 episodes were going back and forth in time a lot, that might be confusing me.
Peggy was still in the house wasn't she? Maybe my timeline of events is off.

My wife had the same question. If he would have gone back in after waking up he would have found everyone. [Reply]

It may have been sloppy storytelling but it could be reasonable that he wasn't all there upstairs, had a concussion etc after the incident occurred. I'm sure he was a little scatterbrained, especially because he needed medical care after. [Reply]
My favorite scene so far might've been when Betsy told Karl to stop drinking, that it would kill him, and he broke down and hugged her. So amazing and so sad. Offerman has just killed it. [Reply]

I'm gonna go back and take a peak at the first episode again....but refresh my memory....Rye came out of the diner....shot the waitress...and then watched a UFO fly away. is that pretty much it? that and Danson's study with the alien symbols hanging all over the place....
with all that being said.....what in the blue blazes fuck is going on!!!! :-)
we are not alone.
I LOVE this show...but damn man. that shit is knucking futs. makes no sense. [Reply]
I enjoy this season, but I think last season's was better story telling.
This season jumps around in style, suddenly it's non linear, suddenly there is a narrator, suddenly there is a UFO, suddenly the butcher and wife are 20 IQ points smarter. But there are some great characters that would be fun to see developed. [Reply]
