Nzoner's Game Room>Jets trade up to #3
ShowtimeSBMVP 08:52 AM 03-17-2018

Huge trade: Jets acquired No. 3 overall pick from Colts for No. 6 overall pick, 37th overall pick, 49th overall pick and our 2019 2nd round pick.

Looks like it, but who do they take at #1?

More than anything I can't imagine any possible benefit for doing this now. Why not call up Indy, work out a potential deal and say we can make this happen on draft day if our guy is still on the board?

Maybe they don't want to be backed into a corner and ransomed on draft day? That's all I can think of..

Well yea, but who they take at #1 will influence what the value is of their pick at 4. If they play it right and get a little lucky they can get quite the haul and 2 quality players.

Now you just played your hand.

If Buffalo had the ammunition and desire to trade up to #3 they can certainly do the same for #2.

They raised the price to do so. Noe there's no question a QB is being taken 1 and 3, so the Giants can bend them over a barrel instead of the Bills having the choice to go to Indy or even Cleveland and trading with them instead.

Josh Allen. They have already announced that Tyrod will be their starting QB for the 2018 season.

Lol... how is this helping the Jets?

Division rivals? If the Chiefs had the same opportunity to fuck over the Broncos, Chargers, or Raiders, I'd sure be fucking happy they did so. Jets might not value any 1 QB over the others so they're content to just be sure to be in position to get 1 of the 4.

Mayock has him listed as his #2 QB. He has stated that he has a high ceiling but is not as pro ready as the other QB prospect. He is also the most similar to Mahomes in this draft class.

Great skill set
Ideal size for a NFL quarterback
Very strong arm
Good athlete
Excellent mobility
Running threat
Keeps his eyes downfield as he scrambles
Hard to sack
Amazing strength to break tackles in the pocket
Can stretch the field vertically with his arm strength
Throws a good spiral
Has a quick release
Throws well on the run
Can throws receivers open
Has worked under center some

He also said Josh Allen may have limited field vision which could be a factor to his low completion percentage.

Mayock's QB draft board ranking for 2017

1. DeShone Kizer, Notre Dame
2. Deshaun Watson, Clemson
3. Mitch Trubisky, North Carolina
4. Patrick Mahomes II, Texas Tech

Absolutely evident. Makes him almost worthless in the pro game. QBs with his accuracy bust and bust hard as well. The shit vision is icing on the cake, but...BIG ARM! MOBILE! Gets him drafted. This clown has NOTHING in common with Mahomes in terms have advanced traits.
