The #Chiefs have inquired about the cost to pry CB Patrick Peterson away from the #Cardinals. The price tag is steep (2 Picks) but I'm hearing Peterson prefers to stay in Arizona. That tells me any trade will require a contract extension.

Different era where agility & quickness could be mitigated by physicality as you aged. In todays era, less physicality is required and more agility and quickness is probably needed because of how they ref the game. I think that is probably why you are seeing CBs not aging as well as they used to. [Reply]

Some merit to that, but PP is still quick and agile. [Reply]

He probably doesn't have many productive years left. Maybe not ANY left as an elite corner. Sure would be nice to have one even if just this year, but I just worry we would get fleeced on value.
Someone mentioned going after Josh Jackson in Green Bay. I like that idea a little better. Younger, upside, cheaper.
Jackson can’t crack the 2 deep on a team that really isn’t “set” at CB. Not really worth trading for a guy that isn’t a clear upgrade. [Reply]

Nonetheless, it kind of feels like the Texans are being extremely reactionary based on one game. I'd take a flyer on him. Let's see what he can do.. [Reply]

McCoy looked like washed up seaweed on the Bills, spends a couple weeks in KC and he’s breaking out 30 yard runs
That’s no guarantees Peterson’s story turns out the same, but it’s worth the gamble... elite players get tired of playing for losers, there’s no question he wants out of AZ
Give him something to be excited about, he is the perfect fit for what’s happening around here right now [Reply]
