Na, not really. The true hotspots were doubling every 2-3 days at one point. Everyone would love for things to be better, but none of those states are really going crazy compared to what's been seen elsewhere.

Half life of COVID-19 under quarter intensity sunlight (clear winter day) is 4 minutes.

So everyone just needs to wear an omnidirectional UV light. Problem solved.

Doesn’t seem as scary when you actually put all the numbers out there now does it?
Have to use those percentages to get across their desired message: fear.

Unfortunately 4 min half life with UV radiation might help with the virus on structures but that might not help with being in close proximity to other humans.

New Data Suggest the Coronavirus Isn’t as Deadly as We Thought
A study finds 50 to 85 times as many infections as known cases—meaning a far lower fatality rate.

How deadly is the coronavirus? A new study finds a far lower fatality rate than most experts thought, writes Andrew Bogan https://t.co/McOoBAI9Hj

People don’t think about the trauma to the psych if you survive a vent. Some on here know people or family that were on vents. Awareness that it may not be over for their family and friends when they survive might be useful information.
You forgot to bring up the horrific description of Ards again for the 100th time too. Just making sure you didn’t leave anything out with your vast medical expertise. Doctor BigRedChief PHD™️

First that doesn't mean it isn't deadly. But yes, I saw this too and tend to agree. Many have tired to play it both ways. On one hand they want to say how deadly it is and point to the CFR or whatever as proof. On the other hand they swear there are millions more cases we don't know about.

So either millions of people are dropping dead that we don't know about or yes, even though this is some bad shit, it isn't as deadly as some suggest.
