Yeah no one can say. I would imagine if you asked those 39 they all would agree that they are happy it was prescribed.
I mean I get its not hard evidence, but why dismiss it so flippantly

That's a link to the Santa Clara County COVID-19 site.

They're showing 1,833 cases with 69 deaths, so I'm not sure I understand this paper. Is it just an estimate based on ?
The serology tests show people who had it and have recovered. Those other numbers are pcr test positives

Let's say the R0 is 5.7. You would need 82 percent of the population to be infected for herd immunity. That means your caseload in that area needs to increase by a factor of 25. That means 25 times more hospitalizations.

That would likely overwhelm the hospital system if you opened everything back up, because if this study is definitive, it means COVID is remarkably contagious.

Be patient.

I know that it can be a miracle drug for some but wow, the side effects were brutal.
You are always agitated without the prednisone. :-)

Nah, not that long.

The genetics of it are pretty mapped out and traced. Early to mid January is when it got here

When you hear hooves, think horses, not zebras.

I have wondered that myself but there has been researchers tracking the genome\DNA of the virus and have traced it to entering the US around mid-January from China.

But nothing can be 100% sure.

Yeah I'm more curious about how the world is going to treat China now. I feel like we are going to see a major shift toward other SE Asian Countries and India.
