I've been on the extend Sneed train since the beginning. I don't even think a 2nd rounder is enough, quite frankly. Just keep him, next year the cap will soar again and you have Reid coming of the books, can cut Thuney, ect. You can make it work.
I also wonder what good old #87 is thinking these days now that literally every key member of the organization is being paid top dollar at their positions except him. Eventually, that's going to need to be addressed.
The problem though is if you pay him fair value, Sneed is 27 so he arguably has 3 top end years left and he has a knee issue...it's risky. [Reply]
Atlanta turns into a second-rounder if Jacksonville extends Ridley’s contract. That’s why Jacksonville would need to wait until after the new league year begins to avoid giving up a second, because at that point any deal would be a free agency signing and not an extension. But that gives Ridley time to talk with other teams during the negotiating window, unless he and Jacksonville can work out a loose agreement and wait. — Jeremy Fowler, ESPN [Reply]
I'm telling you guys, be prepared to get the band back together and draft a WR or two.
Unless a trade makes itself available, or someone is willing to take a big haircut to get a ring, I'm not seeing us doing anything substantial.
And like I said last night, Hardman has shown to be that 500-700 yard guy in this offense when healthy. We don't need to overpay for that production. [Reply]

It is risky, but so is trading an elite leader for an unknown.
I'll trust whatever they decide, but they way things are looking it's hard to envision this roster being improved enough on offense to afford any sort of regression on D. I know there's still plenty of time left to make moves, but the way the chips are falling has me concerned. [Reply]

I think you could be wrong about that. With this shit about him leaking game plans and the league seeing how the whole Jets situation ended up in general, I don't see him having a lot of suitors. [Reply]

Because you are full of shit and spout off so many stupid ass opinions that no one knows what you actually think. Also what big time WR was available to sign and who thought we'd sign them?
Mooney got $13 mil/yr and no one expected him to sign for a deal like this and he's definitely not big time. [Reply]

I wouldn't play him on the tag. I'd pay him. IF the other teams aren't offering deals we wouldn't match. They are factoring a trade in, so his $$$ value may not be what we expect right now. [Reply]
