To be fair, neither DeJong or Bader can hit worth a fuck. The Cardinals made the postseason on the back of great defense and good pitching, but the defense has been awful the first two games and the bullpen has sprung leaks everywhere the last month.
With an offense this bad in the postseason, there aren't a lot of paths to victory. They're lucky they even made it. [Reply]
Dude's curve was nowhere near the zone and Wong just kept hacking at shit. That AB was an epitome of the game. Same with Edman. What the fuck is he thinking swinging 3-1 leading off an inning down three against a pitcher with bad control? [Reply]

Pathetic AB’s by the Cardinals hitters. Yadi swinging at a pitch around his neck. Wong swinging at a 1 strike pitch that bounces 3 feet in front of the plate. Geeezzz [Reply]
The Braves are just a better team; I don't think there's anybody here who doesn't realize that. With the exception of Yadi, every position player they have is better than our counterpart, and pitching is pretty much a wash.
Obviously the better team doesn't always win, especially in a short series. But at the end of the day, we were the least crappy team in a bad division, and I don't seeing us winning this. I'd love to be wrong.
I'd be rooting for the Braves were they not playing the Cardinals, and I'll root for them if they advance. They might actually have a shot against the Dodgers. [Reply]

Maybe if you brought her flowers more, picked up your shit off the floor did the dishes etc, you wouldn't have to debase yourself into being a Braves fan.....:-) [Reply]
