We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

You're already looking to trade Ford and Houston. You might as well rip the bandaid all the way off, eat the dead cap this year and get some different pieces.
Trading Ford, trading/cutting Houston and then cutting Berry, Sorenson, Murray and Ragland gives this team $44 million this season and $98 million next season. That's more than enough money to work with.
Not to mention the psychological boost/aspect it gives everyone in the building in that no one is "tenured in" anymore, and the most natural leader can flourish instead of having to defer to a guy that can't even line up right, a guy that was more concerned about his payday than getting a ring, or a guy that doesn't even play but considers himself a "leader".
No, I think Spags knows this. I think he has a good read on team chemistry, and I think he's got some very specific people and ideas in mind in terms of how he wants to build this thing. [Reply]
La Canfora just said he's continuing to hear the Chiefs are "sniffing around big ticket offensive players" including Le'Veon Bell on Adam Schein's show.

It’s starting to look like we are signing Leveon Bell and he is trying to recruit other FAs to come to KC, too. At least it’s starting to read like that in his tweets.
That scares the shit out of me, TBH. He wants too much $ and after not playing in a year, is more seceptable to an injury. [Reply]

I’m all for Bell if he comes cheap which he won’t. Why Veach has interest in him I have no idea. We need defense [Reply]

And leave Spags standing around with his dick in his hand for this inaugural defensive season?
