Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
Also, Coaches would be lining up to have Mahomes as their QB.
Kingsbury stated he would take Murray #1 overall, BEFORE he was chosen by the Cardinals who happen to have the #1 overall pick. So, it may not have anything to do with NOT being able to work with Rosen, just that he now has the opportunity to draft Murray at one. The Cardinals knew that was a possibility when they chose him and were OK with it. [Reply]

The media dug up those comments after Kliff was hired. I think it's very possible the Cards front office was not aware of that video at the time they hired him. Cards front office doesn't seem to be very competent.
This is just an educated guess, but I think Kliff probably knows Murray better than the Cards front office knows Rosen. Kliff has known Murray for 7 years and recruited him hard in high school.
Now whether they would actually give Kliff enough input to draft Murray #1? I doubt that one very much. Guess we will see how it goes. [Reply]
Don't the Cardinals have a GM? I doubt they would give final say on the #1 pick to a rookie head coach as inexperienced as Kingsbury. There HAD to have been some kind of consensus on the #1 pick when they hired him. I refuse to believe an organization is THAT stupid. [Reply]
Of course they did. It was nice and homogenized without anything unique or special about it. Like everything this organization did before Mahomes. [Reply]
