Rookie safety Juan Thornhill grabs another interception. It’s becoming a thing here at #ChiefsCamp.
Thornhill is going to be the ballhawk we saw in college.
If he picked off Mahomes then that's impressive. Picking off Chaz Heiney not so much. [Reply]

My point was more that they are high draft picks that have been crap so far. If we could get something out of one of them it would be great, whether that is a productive backup or some draft stock / CB help via a trade.
Maybe with the new system, they both will start kicking ass- fingers crossed. [Reply]
Am I just seeing things, or do Mahomes passes take a nosedive at the end of them? I mean they arch in a beautiful spiral- then bang, dive-bomb down right to the target. It must be a mirage?? [Reply]

Um, in this case, the QB does kind of matter. [Reply]

Yeah, that is the thing. It seems like at the apex of the arch, it changes trajectory. Maybe I am seeing things? :-)
He has thrown others like that too- Preseason to DRobb last year, the Reek throw against the Ravens. It is weird to see a pass shift and seemingly gain speed as it comes down like a freaking missile.
When they say Mahomes is throwing bombs- it literally looks like a bomb coming down. [Reply]

The camera lens/angle had an effect on that one, Mr. Halfcan.
However, after watching every Mahomes pass (both TT and Chiefs) at least 20 times, I am convinced that his balls sometimes do crazy things.
Not only his balls ... but his throws, as well.
Sometimes you see a bit of unusual, mid-pass lift or elevation that is inexplicable and I've seen quite a number that appear to curve ... most often to the left.
I don't know why. Or how. I'm guessing it's a matter of maximum football velocity and rotation.
