Gotta admit that I'm lukewarm on a Ramsey signing. First of all, it's gonna take a lot of draft capital to get this done. Then we'd have to spend BIG bucks to actually sign this guy to a long term deal. Plus, I fear this would mean we'd be unable to extend Chris Jones who I think is a damn good player without the diva attitude.

The reality of the cap is such that we simply cannot have a team full of big dollar players, and we all know that Mr Mahomes is gonna be the BIGGEST big dollar player...ever.

I'm just not a fan of smack talking, diva-esque players. They demand "special treatment" or they start whining, crying about unfair treatment, and are just a handful of bad stuff for their coaches.

Yeah, the guy is definitely a talent and yeah he would certainly improve our DB situation, but man, that draft capital, the money and the baggage are huge concerns. I think I'd much rather have C Jones, the draft pick(s) and the dollar flexibility than Ramsey.

Call me unrealistic but I think our current group of DBs has some potential especially with Claiborne on the horizon.

I'll take a hard pass on Ramsey. FWIW
