As far as a cause of death is concerned, obviously they seem to avoiding the subject, by not offering any explanation.
As you noted, TP was a big man. There is no stigma applied because one died because of a heart attack but going down via a Fentanyl OD does raise red flags.
The silence makes one wonder, Do you think Yahoo is flexing a damage control muscle and limiting what is released? really? Not mentioning what city he died in? They could have still been in Tampa... Even her twitter is dead.
A family member may have to come from Detroit (or give a POA) to obtain the cause of death via a Death Certificate. They might not have determined the COD or released the determination. I doubt that it will never see daylight. I don't think you have to report to the public the cause of death when there is no wrongdoing.
I'm going out on a limb by saying that if we ever learn anything it will be what Yahoo want's us to learn.
Hopefully, the best outcome, will be that TP got ****ed to death by the fiancée after returning home after Super Bowl trip and she didn't notice till the morning when she tried to wake him up for another round. There is no police blotter info for their new house near Liberty.
Really, he's dead, I doubt there is any wrong doing so unless they do a blood toxicology test there probably won't be anything new, I'm going to let TP rest in peace.
Spoiler!
Then again he may have been found grabbing the bedposts in a Tampa hotel suite wearing bunny jammies with the remains of an 8 ball and several mismatched pieces of ladies undergarments scattered around the room. After the undergarments were burned and the blow was consumed by housekeeping, an ambulance was summoned. Not that that would fly with time stamps on the door and cameras in the hallway but what a way to go.

Anyone have twatter? I don’t....or her contact info? If someone can reach out to her and let her know ChiefsPlanet heard, we can provide Terez’ floral arrangements. Or what she needs.

One of his former Star colleagues noted he had a "stress-related" diagnosis a few years ago and that he expressed a desire to start eating healthier.
Charles Robinson noted they talked about their upcoming plans in his article, just hours before he passed that late evening/morning.
Mellinger noted that he "didn't wake up."

I think its as simple as our favorite Chiefs beat guy was immensely dedicated to his work and unfortunately, stress came along with that. He also was a big guy, and had a previous diagnosis. His heart likely stopped in his sleep because of these reasons.
I'm so sad that my phone won't buzz multiple times a day with his updates. [Reply]

Being obese also increases the likelihood of suffering sleeping disorders especially apnea. [Reply]
