Went out to a local casino tonight with $140 in my pocket. Walked out with $1280. Won most of it playing a dollar slot machine. Most I have ever won on a slot machine is $1800, but I prefer playing table games most of the time.
Curious if people of the planet have any interesting casino stories. [Reply]
I went to Vegas took $100 with me and left everything else locked in the room safe. I won $800 on my 2cd bet at the Roulette table. I out my $100 back in my pocket and proceeded to lose $100. Got up and went to a Blackjack table. Didn't like that it was a small betting table. Was headed to my room and decided what the hell at the Craps table. Placed a bet on red and won $1700. I got my chips and went and cashed out.
There was a time (mid 2000's when poker was a huge deal) me and a buddy would go up to Harrahs every wknd to their poker rooms. Would win a few hundred bucks each Fri/Sat nights and would call it a night. Would make around $1000/mo during the summer.
Got burned out on poker pretty fast and haven't been back in quite some time. [Reply]
For some reason I was always scared to play at a casino or at a betting company. I think that in my case it can lead to a sort of addiction so for me it is better to stay away from that. I am jealous (in a good way) of people who can fully control themselves and know when to stop and leave the game. [Reply]

I'm with Stew.
Won 100 bucks playing craps 10 years ago in Vegas. 6 hours at the table. Should have stayed in the room, on the computer working. Pays MUCH better [Reply]

I was in Caesars probably 15 years ago for a Cisco conference. My now exwife was with me. She was being everything that lead to her eventually becoming my exwife, so I left the room at about 10pm, wandered around and found a quarter machine. I turned 75 cents into about $27 over the course of 4 or 5 hours and the cute waitress in the slutty maid outfit kept bringing me free beers since I was playing. I drank far more than I won on the machine, but that is the highlight of my gambling career. I seldom win so I generally keep my unlucky ass off the playing floor. [Reply]

That thing is almost 100 % luck. Way more so than normal sports betting. [Reply]

The computer guy at my Dad's company won 11 million and split it between like 7 or 8 people. All kept their jobs and continued on as normal.
I also try my luck with hope to win but never won more than $100
not much (dont gamble often) but once when I was younger and single , I got super drunk with my best friend
and we hit a craps table with like 60$ each and walked away with over $1000 each. He was the shooter, and got
super hot and I just rolled with it. The entire table was screaming/chanting "donkey kong" because my friend
was drunk and kept saying "donkey punch" when he rolled the dice...and it was so loud they thought he was
saying donkey kong. Was cash. (South Lake Tahoe) [Reply]
One other random story is when i was younger and single, some random chick told me my lucky numbers
were 4 , 6 and 24...so I played roulette and mixed in those numbers on my regular betting and actually
won a couple hundo. Never boned the rando chick tho. [Reply]
