Pretty much since the world series year Dayton Moore has been pretty awful at his job.

I was hoping KC would take him and throw enough money at him to make it happen. He was very committed to going to Vandy, though.
Yes, his stuff is nasty. He also looks/pitches much more maturely than his age. Very advanced

Daytons moves sucked before the run and they sucked after. Aside from getting lucky for a couple of years, Dayton has sucked.

So Bubba has been hitting better and better. 1.146 OPS this month and SLG of .677. Just too bad for him that Billy Hamilton is beasting right now and just knocking the shit out of the ball, .281 SLG and OPSing .588.

Sucks that Bubba is being blocked by trash. He will be 27 in August, so don't give me the bullshit excuse that he doesn't have any options. He needs to come up and play every day for the rest of the year. Sending him back to AAA shouldn't even be an option. If he plays decent in the majors then he's your starting CF for next year. If he sucks a bit at first, but improves during the rest of the year, then he starts in CF next year. If he's terrible and just keeps being terrible then cut his ass.

I dont get Daytons obsession with shitty veterans and letting them play, but gives young guys the shortest leash he can. Just like when he sent Zimmer down after 3 appearances and he only gave up runs in 1 of those. He had a million other pitchers to send down or cut, but he sends down the young guy.

FREE BUBBA!

I bought my kid (I call him bubba) a starling #1 when he was drafted. It didn't say starling on the back though it said bubba. They didn't have one small enough so I got the smallestand put it away.

Wife accidentally gave it away with baby clothes... little kid showed up with it on.

I've never thought he was all that great, I mean he made 2 obvious trades that brought us a WS...beyond that, a lot of his moves have been seriously suspect.

But who cares at least we got Jorge Lopez and Bret Phillips. Another dumbass deal by Dayton. It’s the norm.
Yeah, Dayton should have held out for Yelich.

Okay gang, so I can officially announce that I have convinced Marten Gasparini to come out of retirement and he is on the plane to Guadalajara to sign with the local club there and have paid for the services of Chuy "El Toro" Sanchez to be his swing coach.

He'll be knocking in RBI for the good guys in about three seasons. Bank on it.

Duffy walks first 2 batters of the game on 9 pitches. :-)

Lucky to get out of that only giving up one.

Luckily for him, the Tigers suck.

And the Royals bullpen blows another one thanks to a leadoff walk in late innings.

It’s almost like Diekman is trying to crater his value before the trade deadline . . . . .
