They usually finish ranked highly but not often #1.
Regardless, if you think it’s common for the top ranked team to win it all, you know nothing about NCAA basketball. Even the 2015 “greatest roster ever” Kentucky team failed. [Reply]

Hang it.
Probably the better choice.. ESPNU has skipped past a couple of good runs by KU.
Why the fucking hurry, got something live to show after this? :-) [Reply]

You might as well be trying to out-logic a potato. [Reply]
Ya'll have won like 3 games in football since we left a decade and have the same number of basketball titles as Nebraska in that time frame and lost the title this year to FSU. Congrats on being runner up to a football school in basketball blue blood! [Reply]

Don’t be dumb. The winner nearly always is top 10 in Pomeroy def and off. Kansas was the only team this year. [Reply]

The last time Nebraska went to a BCS top bowl was 2001 for the Rose Bowl, which they lost.
Kansas won the Orange Bowl in 2007.
This means that in the last two decades, Kansas football has had the best season out of the two.
