Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

This is where Nick Wright missed an opportunity to ask Mangini how it was that Tom Brady, the GOAT, could pull such a boner at the end of the first half in Miami by allowing the clock to expire. It cost the Patriots the game. How is that any different than what Mahomes did?
The difference being that Brady has 5 rings. Mahomes has a long way to go before he gets the benefit of the doubt from skeptics. [Reply]

I get that but the logic is still flawed. It is just as stupid to argue that a brain fart on Brady's part is a sign that he is over the hill due to oncoming dementia. Both are flawed reasoning. Mangini is just trying to find any reason not to give credit where credit is due. But this time he's stretching his tired argument to its limit. [Reply]
On the topic of clinching a playoff spot, it’s pretty cool to think that as long as we have a good coach and Mahomeboy, we will probably be considered Super Bowl contenders for at least the next decade.
I mean sure he may never have the weapons again that he currently has, but one could also argue that he likely may never again play with a defense as bad as this one.
The idea that Drew Brees could have as many records as he has, have as many wins as he has, and never win an MVP is absolutely insane. He deserves one, and this year is a perfect year to give it to him.
Sounds like the national media and the hatred of that Mahomes kid is real. [Reply]

Such a promising future for the Chiefs.
That is 100% the case. The only way it doesn't go like that is if we totally botch the rest of the roster, like the Packers have most years, and I don't see that happening any time soon. [Reply]

Pure jealousy. That's all. Give it a year or 2 and we'll be the new Patriots/Brady, minus the cheating and other BS, which is not why people hate NE - it's because their team isn't NE. [Reply]

The funny thing is.....is he's still doing it with lesser weapons. No he's not throwing 6 TDs a game....but he beat the defense yesterday with less weapons than he started the year off with. [Reply]

You know that Brees kid is good? I once even watched a football game and saw him throw a pass, he seemed nice. He's played so long he deserves the MVP and this is the perfect year to give him one. You see he's old and probably won't get another chance, do it for the children! [Reply]
