In the meantime, this gem from Andy Reid's press conference today:

Andy Reid was asked if he did anything fun or exotic this offseason: “I attacked a couple Chile rellenos.”

Actually if anything the speed and teams being afraid of deep balls should make the short passing game easy pickings.

That's the growth we need to see from Mahomes this year, to be willing to take what the defense is giving him. If he can do that the offense will be unstoppable because with all that speed the 8-12 yard throws are going to constantly be there.

I thought he looked good from what I saw. Seems like the offense used the far field away from the stands mostly so usually we had the DB's and CB's practicing at the closer field. So generally watched them instead.

Can people stop saying the CBs were terrible last year?! Fuller was decent. Same for Nelson. The big problems were mostly safeties and LBs.

I've said it a thousand times but I cannot imagine Veach not making a big trade to acquire a good CB.

This team is literally arguably a top CB away from bullying the whole league.
Nelson was garbage, but I think Ward has "it". He has true shutdown CB potential.

Listening to some different podcasts I’ve changed up a little on my thinking at cb and the actual importance of it. With the rules now it’s hard as hell to play out there so I’d go with the quantity of decent players over spending high out there and invest heavy in the dl
interested in what podcasts i need a few new ones.

We'll see what the steelers think of their $8.5 million investment the first few times he gets PI penalties for defending passes with his back to the QB.

Nelson was a flag machine who was targeted more than any corner in football for a reason.

He wasn’t decent

K Pass seems kinda slow out there, not much energy from him from what I could tell. I was disappointed in watching him, I knew when we drafted him and the Chiefs said he was a project I was rolling my eyes.

They're calling ticky-tacky PI calls now. Can't even imagine how horrible he'll be this year.

What is all this Ward love based on?

I wouldn’t go that far at all, but Ward definitely flashed.

He had like the 2nd best QBR when targeted in the playoffs, and if it weren’t for Dee Ford he would’ve made the INT that put us in the SB.

I don’t think he’s Marcus Cooper meaning he can at least be solid, but you never know.

I get super sketched out when Hill is just waiting for the ball and players are running full speed at him.
After they give Hill $100MM with $50+ guaranteed they wont put him back there returning kicks unless its the playoffs.

With Hardmen in the mix I doubt if they utilize Hill for that duty anymore, I could be wrong.

I always think about Jason Seahorn when Tyreek is on special teams.

Makes me nervous
